steering puller

Default steering puller

i have to pull my steering wheel to replace my turn signal cam out and was wondering if there is a certain puller to use or will a universal puller work, also how do i pull my old wheel off

Your garden-variety steering wheel puller is perfect for the job.

looks alot like a balancer puller, for future reference will it work for steering wheels?

They make balancer/steering wheel pullers for like $20 that are available from Autozone, Napa, or most any parts store. From my experience, the issue is getting one so that the slots are narrow enough to allow for bolts to screw into a stock wheel. Mine is very tight, but does work for both. It is the style that looks like a chicken foot. Mine that looks like the picture 2+2 posted is too wide to work on my stock 1969 OEM wheel.

Here is the one I have...or very similar.

I have the same one, it was just small enough to work on my 67.
