Default 68 Transmission question

Ive got a 68 mustang with an automatic 3 speed c4 but im wanting to swap in a manual trans. I have flywheel pedals and bellhousing but my question is... Is there anyway to bolt a T-5 transmission to the 68 bellhousing? Or is there any other way at all to bolt up a T-5 ?? Thanks!!

There is an adapter that goes between the bell and the T5.

Uh no, you will need a new transmission cross member, a shortened drive shaft, either a hydraulic clutch or a cable clutch set up, and you will also need to change the speedo gear in the T5. if you want details just do a search on this forum. You will find everything you need.

also, the bell housing for the T5 will bolt right up to your existing 289/302. so if you have the t5 bell housing you can just use it.

I believe www.cjponyparts.com has a kit with just the conversion parts needed minus the new pedal setup.

You maybe able to at least see what you still need.
