Default Heads

So I am looking at performance stuff for the mustang. Right now I am just looking at buying a set of heads. I currently have stock heads on the 302 in the car. I also have a set of E7s sitting in the garage. However while searching craigslist I have found a set of GT40s and GT40P heads. Which would give me the biggest gain? The P heads even come with BBK headers. I would also swap in my HO cam.

Both sets of GT40 heads are $250 a set

the P headers that they come with are probably for a fox body or something...youll need classic specific p headers to runt he heads...the p heads are slightly better but in the long run youll come out way cheaper with the gt40s since you can reuse your stock exhaust

also i dunno if where you are has any pull a part junkyards where you can pull your own parts but in those kind of yard you can usually get a set of gt40 for about 50$ or less

I'm also going to a major parts swap at the beginning of February in Nashville, so I'm going to look there as well. Plan on doing this swap during spring break. That way I don't have to go anywhere while its apart.
