alright i went to hook up my dash cluster to see if the ground worked. It didnt, but i will cheack the ground wire. Also when i went to hook the temp gauge wires sparks flew whenever the whole cluster touched metal, and there was no power to the fuse boxes when the temp gauge was hooked up.
I am amazed that we dont have school. That is a rare thing. although I start work on monday. Work isnt a bad thing because it will get me my carburetor.

 

Yeah, trying to "conserve" gas. I dont know why the panel would be sparking, when the car was off.

 

Oh i did have jumper cables on the battery, and the car acceseries were on.
I hate elctrical. Im just gonna duct tape a mag lite behind the dash.

yes, i believe the ground wire connects behind the regulator somewhere.
