this poor shelby
look at this beauty, in all its glory, you would think, he its a pretty damn nice shelby, but ohhh ohh --sniff sniff sniff--- this car didnt deserve this... scroll the pics from top to bottom to get the full effect of the shocker.... excuss me i have something in my eye folks...--sniff--http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1967-...QQcmdZViewItem
That car is awesome....the price tag is way out of my court. I have always said that if I had a Shelby I would sell it and build a clone. I can't imagine how much it would hurt to get in an accdient with a real shelby.
i would probably have a hearth attack.... than cry softly to myself. No really if it really happened, i think i would be beside myself, not knowing what to say or do. Knowing me id get even more mad at myself and start beating up the car (i have a problem with tools that dont get the job done so....) i didint eve nnotice the damage untill i browsed through all the pictures, and as soon as i saw it litterally my hearth broke. somewhere out there a little wolf cry into the wilderness.....--sniff-- damn something in my eye again
Yeah they had the two that came down from the roll bar and tied in with the lap belt so in a way a three point harness. The valve covers are also correct, they were put on early 428 with dual quads, and dual quads only. They say La Mans because this was the time when the GT-40's were domanationg the La Mans races and used simialr engines in there cars too, ergo Shelby did work on the GT-40, and of course with the Shelbys he brought them over. And to add ones not a Cobra and the other a La Mans, it reads Cobra La Mans you just cant see it to well with the spark plug wires in the way.... hope this helps Glen

COuld be much much worse.. ie fire, flood, tornado, theft recovery after one of those chases on cops where they get hit by a truck...
Easily fixed and a beautiful ride.

I figured out years ago to unplug or shut off everything in the garage before turning out the light and going to bed. I don't charge batteries or do anything with electricity in the garage at night. Just too much go pow stuff in there.
