What water pump brand?
OK Gang,
I am about to purchase the last item I need to finish my build out on my 66 Fastback. Here is what I have so far, I am placing an Edelbrock 600 Performer on top of the Edelbrock Performer Intake. I have the Edelbrock Performer Series Fuel pump. Now I am trying to deside on the water pump. I have thought about the Edelbrock High Performance. Just wondering what you guys have found to be a good choice for the 289/302. I have also made the jump to a new 3 row radiator as well. I do not want any overheating issues down here in the hot Texas heat.
This weekend I hope to finish sand blasting the engine bay and get it painted and ready for my beast to come alive. The power plant will be accompanied by the c4 tranny. I am not looking to blow the doors off the new 05 GT just want all my purchases to be dependable. Looking for suggestion.
Thanks
Gary

It depends on how deep your pockets are. CSR Billet aluminum electric water pumps will certainly keep you cool, but they are pricey. http://store.summitracing.com/defaul....asp&x=44&y=14
If you are not into electrics, then take a look at the Edelbrock Hi-Po aluminum. http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive/waterpumps.html
