bolt from hell

Yes, we have all had a couple bolts from hell. I just always use a 1/2 breaker bar, or rachet. Then i bang on it with a hammer. you can use a wrench too. Either the bolt will snap off, or loosen.

I was (and still am) trying to get the pitman arm off of my mustang, and i had a gear puller on it trying to get it off, the cursed thing slipped off and hit my hand MERCY DAY THAT HURT!![:@] so what did i do, i did what any full blooded American would do, i got up and threw that damned thing as far as i could and said some choice words that are innapropriate for this forum

Dude they make pitman arm pullers. That is the only thing that will get those bad boys off.

went to put a shackle lift on a Jeep Wrangler I use to have and they put the shackle bolts in backwards at the factory. Had to drop the fuel tank to get them off.

that HAD to SUCK

And i dont have a pitman arm puller but ill be getting on soon, i thought i had broken my hand when that thing slipped off

oh this isn't the first bolt ive run into on this little project theres another one on the battery tray its in possible not the worste spot ive seen in all my 18years of being alive if ne1 has a 66 mustang and replaced there rusted battery tray they'll know this one. the bolt head is tucked up in the wheel well with the bumber bracket halfway over the bolt the only way i got it off was to pull off the front bumper and half the bolts on the bottom sheet metal. took me three rounds to get that bolt off but when i did it was sweet victory.
