?????????Bodykits?????????
p.s. holy thread revival Batman!
Its a shame that wedon't allthink, look, smell, and drive cars that all look alike. Well I like to be different, and Idrive an Eleanor clone and had fun building it too, buts thats just me.Funny, I haven'tseen too many people on here that haven't made mods of some sort to their Mustang. If you like body kits, then go for it. Its your car, enjoy itthe way you want to. No oneseems to bark too much aboutall the Shelby clones that probly out number the Eleanor clones a thousand to one. +1 on richrom's comment."Making it or any car personal is one of the great things about owning your own". Well put.
while you all complain about what the movie did to the prices of 67/68 FB Mustangs, you conveintly forget about what else happened. A complete 67 FB shell will soon be available not to mension all the trick suspension upgrades and and repop roof skins and full door shells, quarters etc. With popularity comes aftermarket support. I have had 67's and 68's since I was 15 and the aftermarket favored the 65 & 66. Now I can get almost an entire 67/68 FB interior that was unheard of a few years ago. Also think about how many GT500E's there are, maybe in the 100's but most likely less than you think. And how many 67/68's have been dug up from the dead because of renewed interest in that body style? I have always gone the "restomod" route and always catch heck but I don't build my projects for your approval. If you don't like them walk on past and google at the massive 14x5" rims and and fomoco script headlights on the next Mustang. I am all for having preserved "correct" Mustangs but keep them in the museum. I'm driving mine! I have a 67 coupe no one would have even looked at that will be pretty sweet (in my opinion) and a 68 that both should have been crushed. Neither were rare, the 67 was one of many with 289/C4 and PS and nothing else special. My 68 FB was a 6cyl with an auto and manual steering and no other options. Both were rusted badly. Now critzize all you want but I saved 'em and it was my money and hard work and they are still Classic Mustangs and not Honda's!

here, here [sm=signs007.gif], The little bit of change is what defines us personaly and as agroup. We are known as classic guys because we all prefer to drive old cars, some would say were crazy because we don't conform and just have new cars in the driveway. So, is it bad to personalize within the group and add or delete something from the car........Hummmm, May be we are not so different after all.....
