can I use my old glass window with a new top?

Will my old back window (glass) match up with a new top? The vinyl is in good shape and if I can Save the $$ and buy just the top,pads and cables it would sure help out.
Anybody done this?

Yes you can, however, you need to make sure that the fabric and zippers are good on the old window. What year are we talking?

I heard that there is a pretty good chance of a leak, which my **** leaks anyways
