About three years ago I bought my son the Mustang Cobra bading set. My guestion is related to the method the current front quarter panel "GT" badges are affixed. The Cobra badges had both an adhesive backing along with a mechanical mounting. I'd like to put them on my 2006 4.6 GT Vert - but need to know what I'm getting into. I know the grill emblem is a bit of on issue due to the entitely different fromt end - but any help on the quarters is appreciated.

 

your puttin cobra badges on a GT....why? its not a cobra.....but if you do you could always just cut off the "mechanical" attaching part and just stick em on.

dont do it but if u must i would stick them on with 3m double tape or they may have come with some on the back

 

if your going to put cobra badges on a gtyou might as well tape them on...

 

When i bought my gt it had cobra emblems on it and i drove it around for a few days and people where looking at me like i left a 52 oz thirst buster on my roof. Trust me, its not worth it.... it diminishes whatever you do to your car, people will think your an idiot or a poser.
