Default Overspray

What is the best way to remove a good amount of overspray from my car? I painted my cage outdoors and the clear decided to go into the garage and completely cover the car. You cannot really tell it is there unless you feel the finish, or look closely but i want it gone. I first tried a clay bar and it didn't do a thing, barely slides across the finish at all. Next i started using the porter cable and a heavy cut polish and heavy pad. This works to some extent with LOTS of time. It takes forever! It has been three days and i maybe have 1/4 the overspray removed. Does anyone know any tricks for getting this stuff off?

sounds like your best solution is wet sanding.

Claying should be the best option to remove overspray. Were you using enough lube? If you are using plenty of lube and the clay is barely sliding across the paint, it's most likely very heavy overspray that is prventing the clay from sliding.

Keep trying using a medium grade clay with plenty of lube on a 2X2 section and see if that works. It should.

I am using Maguires products but i think it is for light use. I will have to look into a better clay.
