V6 or V8?

v6's will always be v6's in the eyes of the insurance agents. I own a 2005 v6, partly because I would have had to waita little longer before I could afford the gt and also I wouldn't have been able to afford to modify the gt even if I waited. So you can either be one of those kids that buys a slower car and makes it faster, unique, and therefore "his/her" car. BTW, what kinda of car were you driving when you were 21? Oh, and as for the power, I have yet to be passed by any vehicle (except for a crotch rocket once, but I stayed right behind him). Maybe driving skill/***** counts for something?
Anywayze, to get back on track, I don't even have to take my car out of my driveway to get compliments on it and the only "GT" modification I have made to it is the grill/foglights (It doesn't look right without them). Basically just do what you want (as long as you don't tune up a F***ing pre-2006 civic)

gas milage i get around 20, nanki gets 23 with a blower and 3.73s in a GT
and if 2 people get 30k to spend on a car including the car and mods, and take them both to the track to run them, im guessing if modded right the 6er would win

Ok, hubby wanted one so bad in 05 and got the V6 I was never impressed with the car but hey he liked it so......decided out of curiosity to test drive a 06 GT Saturday.......well needless to say we drove the GT home........no comparison.....I like the V6 but I love the GT, so much more power, and it rides smoother and sounds better.........so take it from someone who had the V6.....get the GT!

Surely you didn't just say that. Maybe I misunderstand the statement, but are you saying 2 people have $30k, one buys a V8, the other buys a V6, and you mod both, the V6 wins?

Go with the V8 bro. Only high school girls drive V6's that mommy and daddy buy them for their sweet 16. Everyone and their mother has a V6 too. You drive from point A to point B and guarantee you see at least 10 V6 ponys. You might see 1 or 2 V8's.
