Default Tune Up Time!

When you do a Tune-up
what kind of Plugs, Caps, Filters etc do ya all get?
Any specific Brands you'll stick to for as long as you own a car?

Just did a tune-up, and did Autolite double plat plugs, and Autolite Professional wires. Probably stick with that brand until the end. There are several good reviews of oil filters, I don't know of something similar for fuel filters. I usually pick up whatever brand the store has.

Fram Sure Grip Oil filters, fuel filters, etc except for the K&N air filter which is reusable with a recharging kit. Autolite plugs work fine and are inexpensive. If money is no object, you might try the Splitfire plugs, I used a set of those and they seem to add just a little extra pep but $40 for a set of plugs is a little steep. Right now I'm running Accel U-groove short racing plugs to get extra clearance around my MAC equal length shorty headers as the spark plug wires are mighty close and I already burned up the #3 wire once! Ford Racing sells a nice set of plug wires that are made to fit and pre-labled for each plug, they're 8mm silicon if I remember correctly and a nice Ford blue in color. They look good with the matching blue high performance silicon radiator hoses. Summit Racing sells them for about $40 bucks.

MOTORCRAFT or MOBIL 1 oil filters,Fram sucks *** and have the poorest filtering capabilities.Autolite or motorcraft plugs,MOTORSPORT 9mm wires theyre numbered and come in yellow, blue,or red.As far as air filters i like paper myself. And as far as fuel filters i use motorcraft as well.

Yes, FRAM is one of the worst oil filters you can buy.
