Default Spindles

I have an 86 GT and have purchased Tokico 87-93 Struts. I noticed when installing that they were 87-93 because the spindles and about ½ inch to wide to fit the struts. Is there something that I need to do to make this fit or did my parts guy just give me the wrong struts. Will spindles from a 87-93 bolt in place on my 86.

Thanks for any help.

87-93 spindles will bolt on, but they use a larger rotor..10.80". So you will need to get 87-93 rotors and calipers.
