thats why everyone is different. different people like different things. maybe he looks at it the same way, why dump 15 grand in a mustang when you can dump it in a civic? You cant make everyone happy, so just get the car that you want and do the mods the way that makes YOU happy. Dont worry about everyone else.

The reason I was talking about the whole 15k thing is cuase someone else brought up dumping it into the engine and I said I thought it was a waste of money. I don't mean just a mustang, but if you want a fast car start with a good platform, if you like imports get a supra or at least something with more then a 1.6 liter engine. The original point of this I think was that the car is horrible. That's my opinion, not saying he shouldn't be able to do it, I'm just saying I'll laugh at him.

Or like a lot of these kids who buy 20-30k dollar cars and then dump that 15k into them right after they get it buy a 2003 cobra, put a pulley set, CAI, and cat-back on it and you'll be running 12's.
Screw that, spend a couple grand on a real hot rod from the 60's and another grand or 2 on an engine rebuild and kick the living crap out of all the aforementioned cars. All you need to kick some serious *** is a fire-breathing big block in an original muscle car and you'll own the street. Not only are they exploding with power, but nothing beats the sound of a lopey big block idle and ground-pounding torque. Not to mention the women....oh yeah, the women.

...and not those little skanky hoochie hos who hang around with the "fast and furious" crowd either. [:'(]

LOL, couldn't have said it better myself, that was basically the whole point once it got into talking about performance. Screw 4-bangers, there's no replacement for displacement.
