From previous posts, my '94 3.8L had been running a little hot with a fluctuating gage. Today I went to get in and there was a huge coolant spot on the ground. Inside, there was coolent comming out of the weep hole and the pulley below the pump was completely covered in burned coolant. Should I just consider my water pump dead and replace it?
Since you have to replace the water pump, might as well remove a few more bolts and replace the timing chain and gears. Better than having to do another teardown later.
