Default Water Pump is Weeping Like Crazy

From previous posts, my '94 3.8L had been running a little hot with a fluctuating gage. Today I went to get in and there was a huge coolant spot on the ground. Inside, there was coolent comming out of the weep hole and the pulley below the pump was completely covered in burned coolant. Should I just consider my water pump dead and replace it?

the manufacture puts that hole there so you know when the pump goes out, mechanical fuel pumps hav ethe same thing.

Since you have to replace the water pump, might as well remove a few more bolts and replace the timing chain and gears. Better than having to do another teardown later.
