pulling into my driveway this weekend and all of a suddin the car start making a loud winding noise and some smoke/dust started coming out from under the hood. i immediatly shut the car off and opened the hoood. i noticed it smelled awful. so i got back into the car started it up to see if it happend again and i noticed the loud winding noise only occured when i pushed the clutch in. so i am assuming the clutch is shot. does this sound about right?

So my question is: Should i stick with the Stage 1 clutch or would there be a problem if i steped it up to the Stage 2 clutch?

my car is basically stock with K&N coldair intake, Bassani ML headers Xpipe catcack. more modifications for the future. would it be best if i just got the stage 2 so i dont have to worry about it in the future.

any information would be appreciated. Best clutch brand etc.
