banjo bolt
Cross posting this from over in 4.6L land... help me if you can please!
I've made a problem for myself by putting the brakes from a 2000 mustang/gt on my supercharged tbird. Brackets, rotors, and calipers are mounted, but my old banjo bolts don't match the new PBR calipers. No parts store in my area carries the bolts and for the Ford Dealer wants $21.72 each for them. I got a small problem paying $44 for two bolts. It's not that I'm cheep, it's just not right for the Ford Dealer to ream people like that for something that should cost about $5.
Anyway, found that Pegasus Auto racing has banjo bolts, but I need to know what dimensions I need.
My question: what is the dimensions for the banjo bolt for a 1999-2004 mustang / mustang gt. If any one has the shop manual, it should be in there. I think it's M10x1.0 and I know it's not M10x1.5. banjo bolt = aka: brake hose bolt, caliper hose bolt
