check this, i was in MI last weekend and my 2000 gt got stuck in 5th gear. so they replaced the whole entire tranny with a 2005 tranny. there is absolutely NO play in nuetral and the gears seem a little higher and the shifts are tighter. can anyone please tell me about my new tranny and how the performance differs from a 2000. thanks alot everyone. - dustin

 

in '05 they're using a B&M short shifter right from the factory...that's why.
