Default How do you reseal cheap or leaking headlights?

I bought some crap lights off ebay for my 2000 mustang and they have a lot of humidity in them. how do i go about resealing them?

Depends on where they are leaking, but you could go with the clear flowable silicon for windshields available at most parts stores

You could try this.

Or I have heard of people drilling small holes in the bottom of their lights for the water to run out.

I'd go with drilling the hole in the bottom, otherwise you'll just end up caking silicone all over the place and they will look like $hit. IMHO

That is why you use the flowable silicone, it flows into the cracks and is clear and dries clear, it only takes a small bead, I have done it on several occasions for friends cars and always looks good. Now if you go ghetto and use RTV, it will look like total ***
