Default 331 stroker

Hi there all.
I'm new to this forum as i'm from london, england, but i'm sure i'll be using it a lot in the future.

Anyway my question is this. how easy is it to fit a 331 stroker kit into a 302 block. how much (if any) of the block needs notching for clearance.
any advise on this subject would be great and very helpful.

cheers to all, Phil

331 requires nothing special (aside from paying attention to the compression ratio). 347 is a different story, and does vary block to block.

Uhh well the 302 to 331 conversion is simply bigger bores, so new pistons, longer stroke, which means new connecting rods and crankshaft, and all related hardware, bearings, rings machining of the block, yada yada yada. As far as notching the block or whatever, all the machine work is basically on the inside of the block, so it'll drop right in as the physical size of the short block hasn't changed. If you want a good recommendation check out Creb Engines on Ebay killer prices and their machine work goes above and beyond.
