Thanks for all of the input. 800HP is an estimate of the hp. and with 20PSI on a 5.8L it could be more than that. but definately the HP is at RWHP. not the crank. sorry for the confusion everyone.

Even though a 100HP difference through the drive train may be significant in determining the cost. Just use your imagination here on this thread. Instead of arguing small points use that concentration on imagining having an 800HP Car on the road and sitting on nice leather seats with the A/C ICE cold and listening to your favorite CD. Dusting any competetor that approaches the sound of your burly 5.8L. Not even the HWY patrol could touch the power of your car.
