i wouldn't worry about it...some times my e brake light stayes on but then again my brakes are all ****ed up to begin with...(i guess thats what you get when theres a leak in the lines)..but then again my parts have a 1996 Ford Ranger and the light stays on all the time and we think it may be because f thd fuse or short sircuit

If yall would look in the owners manual , your ebrake light will come on when you are low on brake fluid. Perhaps there is enough for the light not to come on when not moving of moving at a steady speed but when the fluid is moved to the front it reads low.

Hmmm, well I just got an oil change and they checked all my fluids, but I suppose I can always check to see if it's pretty well full and all. Thanks for that suggestion!

My stang's first owner lost the manual, so I would have never known.

My mustang was doing the exact same thing that you described. I checked the brake fluid and it was low. I filled it back up and the light quit staying on. I will probably get my brakes checked soon, though. Hope this helps.

Im with kristy
probally low on fluid at the master cylinder, when your front end comes up the fluid gets away from the sensor.

Nice launches, huh? Got a stall?

They probably shouldn't let ignorant people drive fast too then. Better slow down next time you're behind the wheel.
BWHAHAHAIPOshoidhaoihudsihsdohcpo PWNT! Hahahaha awesome ownage!

And yeah, your cable is loose and tripping the sensor to turn on the e-brake lamp. Have her tightened up and it'll go away!
