Supercharge it....
Everything else can be done piece by piece cheaper... If you have a lump of money now, the SC is going to make the most difference. And No, you dont need to get forged unless you are pushing 11+ PSI. Most of us SC GTs are around a safe 8-9 PSI (stock bottom end) and SC companies usually only provide pulleys for that much boost.

forged vs factory pistons is based on psi, but in a round about way, the actual difference is due to enhanced piston speed, as opposed to tensile strength

put the cash in a cd...save over the winter and hopefully you'll be in the 3k range and net you a nice supercharger with the goodies..this by far would be a great investment.....all the other sh it you can add as $$$ permits
