Default Lowering questions

The '00 GT that I recently bought was supposedly lowered 2".
Apparently they cut the stock springs. From what I've
been reading, cutting the stock springs is not too good.
It rides pretty rough and pulls slightly to the left.
I'd like to maintain the the 2" drop but do it the right way.

Should I buy some Eibach Sportline springs and install?
I'm considering getting the Maximum Motorsports caster/camber plates.

How can I tell exactly how much it is really lowered?

Please advise. Thanks.

Well gforcejunkie Ive chopped my front and rear coils with a grider, on my 83 and 93 stang they did the trick for a few months, Then I noticed after doing that caused my coils to become weak, I noticed my handling was no good. So then I bought some Eibach 2" drop performance coils, Man they were 100% better then the grinder cut coils, Way better handling in the corners, Its worth the money, Only way its good to grind chop youre stocker coils if you got a beater or just not worried about performance.

Good Luck with youre results.
