help linkage prob

Default help linkage prob
2.3 to 50 swap with aod transmission. need help with linkage. rod is too short. any ideas. already lenghtend the rod, the detent on the shifter doesnt match up with the detent on the transmission.
2.3to5.0 is offline

get the proper shifter to go with the AOD and then it should work OK.
