Default exhaust coming through vents

hey, i have an 02 GT and I can smell exhaust coming through the air vents every time i start up and everytime i slow down to a stop, it dosn't smell when the car is moving.what could be causing this? theres no exhaust smell under the hood, so i dont think the headers could be causing this. the exhaust mods are (bbk headers, Offroad H pipe, and flowmasters), dont know if that helps . thanks in advance, Richard

This could be VERY dangerous! I'd run a can of injector cleaner through the intake (to make smoke) and see if you get smoke coming from any leaks in the exhaust. You did say you have BBK headers and they have been notorious for leaks around the mounting flanges. The leak could be coming from just about anywhere,so do a thorough job when you start looking.

if you dont smell it when your moving it is probably below the car this so that when you are moving it will go behind i would check see if there is a leak coming from any of the welds and/or gaskets from all the new parts you've added since it started smelling

Are you sure its coming thru the vents and not up past the shifter from underneath? Its worth checking.
