I have an 01 GT with about 140,000 miles. Recently I went to start it and it started but immediatly went dead. I tried again and reved the engine and it kept running, but as soon as I let off the gas it dies. The next day it started just fine, a couple of days later it did the same thing. I checked all the fluids and they are good. The check engine light has not come on at all. Any thoughts of what the problem could be?

 

Sounds like a vacuum leak. Make sure all the hoses are properly connected and the IAC isn't stuck.

 

TPS might be getting a little goofy
