In over my head on a 99 GT.
I realize I am new, but I need some advice.
Theres a 1999 GT with 47k miles on it and a bit of body damage forsale localy. It needs a new front bumper and quarter pannels, and passenger air bags. How hard is it to get my hand on these parts and what can I expect to pay? I can pick up the vehical or very cheap and it has a clean title. I have always wanted a newer mustang and this seems like the perfect project. Before I take too much slack for thinking I can do this myself, my uncle owns a body shop and is looking at the car with me tommorow to tell me if it is worth buying. (Frame damage/repair costs).
