So my dd is a 93 ranger 3.0 4x4 all that good stuff, but on my way home from work (work night) this morning my truck never came up to heat, was blowing cold air though the heater, temp gauge showed it was barely off were the needle rests but way below the first mark on the gauge. the drive home is about 10 miles and my truck was started nearly 20 mins before i left work... any one have any ideas? or even know how its possible for a motor not to come up to heat at all?

 

My bet is the thermostat is stuck open.For a quick fix you can stick a sheet of cardboard in front of the radiator to block some of the airflow.
