Default motor question on my 86 gt

i have 86 gt and 83 gt , im taking motor and tranny out of 83 and puttin good 5 speed in my 86 since it has a 4 speed in it now with no reverse . but thinking bout building that carb motor up lil bit but jus wonderin what all would i have to do to swap over to a carb motor in my 86 efi . was gonna do motor in it but heard have to change over to mass air and that swap out of jegs or something is like 400 and helll with that lol . being efi and going to carb how would i do the gas lines fuel pressure regulater ?

I guess you are talking about adding a bigger cam to the 86 efi engine? A good carb and intake can cost 200-300. If you car is already a EFI speed density car you just need a Mass Air Sensor,Computer and Mass air Plug and change a few wires.

ya i would like to change over to mass air but 400 seems lil much jus for that swap . and i dont know much bout wirings . would it all be jus plug in's and go . or gonna have to rewire comp or anything like that .

Keep in mind converting to carburetor may not be as cheap as you think.
