Default small pieces of plastic sucked up into intake

I was drilling a small hole about 3/4 for a IAT sensor bung and idiot friend started the car before I could vaccum all the plastic debris and it sucked up small pieces of plastic into the intake in the engine. My question is will this just burn up in the combustion chamber or will there be problems down the line? Sorry if this sounds like a newbie question , but I am worried. thanks

chances are that it will burn up and not cause any problems.

It'll be ok. I doubt that will hurt anything at all, now if it were Metal, id be a little worried about it.
