help with rims
Hello,
I have an '04 40th anny edition mustang, it is crimson red with grey racing stripes.I am looking for new rims to put on it and I have narrowed it down to 2 choices. One is made by HELO, the other by RPM. I have no knowledge of either of these makers and I was wondering which maker would offer a more durable, steady, and rideable rim, or if I can't go wrong with either. Anyone with prior experiences/ knowledge about these rims would provide me with greatly appreciated, useful information when making my selection. Thanks!!
Also, if you want to see the rims and let me know which style you like better, it would also be greatly appreciated. Here are the links:

Once again, thanks for any feedback!!

RE: help with rims
I think chrome is cool, but I don't particularly like any of those rims. Also, don't get a tire and rim package, because the tires that come in those are crap. I would also opt for a better name brand for rims, such a American Racing, as they will last longer. Also, if you get chrome, you have to keep up with them and clean them with good chrome polish often to protect it against corrossion and permanant scuffs. I learned it the hardway when I had to replace a whole set of rims after just 6.5 years when they got so corroded that the tires wouldn't even mount to them properly and I was losing pressure. What I would do is order your rims and have them shipped to a shop to get tires put on. Get GOOD tires, do not skimp. Tires make a huge difference in handling, braking, and acceleration. I like the Bridgestone Potenza RE960 AS Pole Positions. Awesome performance, and you can use them all year long. Also it's the only performance tire with a treadwear warranty.
