I have an 03 cobra rear that I'm swapping onto my 88GT. The drive shaft mounting flange for the cobra is a larger diameter bolt pattern than any others, so my drive shaft won't bolt to it. I've read elsewhere people say to switch the flanges of the original gt rear and the cobra. Well, I pulled the 2 flanges off and went to put my gt flange on the cobra rear and turns out the cobras pinion gear has 31 splines for the drive shaft flange to mount to, opposed to 28. So now I'm stuck. I liked to keep the 3.55 gear set in it, and didn't want to change out the rear gears, but if thats what I must do, then I'll have to. But I'm looking for a cheaper way!
Anyone know of a place I can get a flange with 31 splines with a gt bolt pattern, or anywhere that sells the driveshaft end piece?
