Default increase rpm limit

How do you incrase your rpm limit safely? what parts do you need to strengthen? Also, i know this is a little off subject, but what does a low compression piston head look like? is it the deep dish ones or the ones with the mounds ontop of them?

Default RE: increase rpm limit

New valvetrain (cams, valvesprings, etc.). I'm not sure how fast the stock rotating assembly can spin without flying apart, but that should probably be upgraded as well. Also a handheld tuner or reflash of the computer to delete the rev limiter. Why, do you higher revs?

EDIT: Deep dish pistons are the low compression ones, I'm not sure what pistons have "humps".
