RE: hanging RPM during shifting
Go to your freindly neighborhood hardware store and buy a 1/2 inch copper pipe cap.Go home and take a 3/16 inch drill and make a hole in the center of the cap.Pull the IAC hose off the throttle body and slide the pipe cap inside.Replace the hose.Start the car and turn on the AC.If the idle is too slow you can enlarge the hole untill the idle speed is to your liking.I have mine set at 850-900 rpm.It also helped the manual trans.shift smoother when cold, and hot,for that matter.(in my case anyway)Total cost $.29+your time, about 30 mins.

the V6 does not have an 1/2 inch Tube on the IAC !!
Does somebody have an other Idea to fix my RPM Problem?

Look at that thread to get an idea of what an IAC restrictor plate looks like. Although your IAC is probably shaped differently that those on the '99+ V8s, and you therefore wouldn't be able to use the pre-made ones shown there, the principle is the same. Take your IAC gasket, or buy a new one (about 50 cents), and use it as a template for a piece of sheet aluminum. Drill both mounting bolt holes and one 1/2" hole as per your gasket, and where your gasket has the other 1/2" hole drill instead a 9/32" hole. Cut the aluminum to the outer shape of your IAC and you have an IAC restrictor plate. I used two gaskets, one on either side of the plate, when I mounted mine. Note that you may have to enlarge the smaller hole in 1/32" increments until you find the idle drop you like for your particular car. I had to enlarge mine to 5/16" and finally to 11/32" before mine was just right. Enjoy!

Will do, glad it worked. I've ben using one for over a year and it made a big difference. I have had some work out at WSMR occasionally and was last in Alamogordo about a year and a half ago. I also go to Gallup once a year around Feb or March. NM rules, my second favorite out-of-state place to go after Las Vegas.
