Question Possible 4.5 ish 0-60 ?

Is it possible to get 4.5 0-60 without changing the engine or going with a SC or turbo? 05 mustang with mods in sig. With what I've got I can run a 4.8 on a good day. I know a lok of people just judge the 1/4 mile time and don't care about the 0-60 so much but Its more important to me because that's the speed you are more likely to feel in real world driving. I don't have a track and I've never raced the car but I've kind of got this personal goal of 4.5 second 0-60 but it's not worth supercharging my car for. I'd rather save for a 2013 gt than spend 7k on one mod.

Has anyone ran a 4.5 ish (or faster) 0-60 in a 05-09 gt?

I hope to be able to get in that neighborhood once I get my cams in. Although that may actually hurt 0-60, not sure. Before headers I ran a 0-60 of 4.86 while holding the camera in one hand, so I think it can be done.

could you tell a diffrence with headers? I'm still not sure i want to spend the $$ for them I've heard they make a difference and ive had people tell me its just for the sound too.

PS: How did you get the timer on that video?? what software did you use?

Yes, big difference in the butt dyno for sure.

I could show you, but it would be easier for me to do it for you. If you upload another video that's a bit longer(a few seconds before and after your 0-60), I can do it. I basically downloaded a stopwatch onto my desktop, recorded my screen, cropped it, and overlayed that video into my 0-60 vid.

Get the proper tires. Nitto makes some spidey-web sticky tires, but be prepared to pay!
