Default coil packs 2003 gt mustang

I started the engine and disconnected each coil pack one at a time to find the bad one which i think i did. Then i checked for voltage at the connector of the bad coil pack.Got at least 12 volts. Then checked for continuity threw the bad coil pack and got continuity. Then connected the bad coil pack and started the engine to see if it would fire a spark plug which it did not.I am in the mindset of no check engine light comes on and the car runs sluggish.Going to keep working the issue.

Just replace the coil pack. Usually you'll see cracks/bulging in the epoxy on the coil when they go bad from age. My van, with the 5.4 never thru a CEL with a bad coil. And I've had 3 go bad at separate times in the last couple years. Nothing lasts forever lol.
