Default Issues with my mods on my 06 convertible gt automatic

Hi all,
Well I installed some mods a few months back and all is ok, but off the line it is a total dog...the mods I installed are as follows, pypes cat back exhaust, SCT X4 tuner with tunes for life, and a JLT CAI. It seems that off the line it has nothing hardly, then at around 2000 RPMS its a BEAST! It's not really much of an issue...but I feel it should be a little better off the line. There is an option on my tuner where I can manually adjust the timing, fuel, air, idle and the like..thought about trying that. I have two tunes already programmed into the tuner, 87 and 93 octane. Both run ok.. Both have the same off the line preformance..any thoughts? I am running 93 octane fuel. On a side note when I kick the throttle around 1000 rpm I can hear the sucking sound coming from the cold air intake and it does go... But not super responsive till 2k rpm...

Likely a tuning issue, assuming you didn't have this problem before the mods. Bama did your tuning? If so that may be your problem, they have been known to be very hit or miss for at least the last few years. I could tell you a story about a guy who got a bad tune that caused a total of 7 dtc's to pop up immediately upon starting the vehicle after uploading their tune, the device bricked and he no longer has a factory tune file and will need a trip to the dealer for a factory reflash due to Bama's screwupery, then take the device somewhere to be reset and re-educated. Of course Bama is not interested in paying for any of it but is more than happy to send him some more of their screwed up tunes lol. You can play the game with them if you want - run the car and data log and email files back and forth in hopes that they get it right (and they may) or just go straight for the option of having somebody else do a tune for you.

I may do that last option...any one you'd recommend? I also thought about running 4.10 gears...any thoughts?
