Well, there's a clue. It sounds like a loose connection and my bet is that it got loose when the springs were done. That's where I'd look.
my only thought against that, I went on a long trip right after wards. Drove over 1200 miles round trip with no issues. Since it started, I have never been able to drive longer than 30-40 minutes max.
check the grounding straps at the tank etc. Had a truck do this after the straps parted in the engine bay. After letting it set a while it would start and run for a few minutes then quit again.
