Default Having trouble with puddle light install.

I have a 2007 gt and installed the puddle lights. Picked up power from pass. A-pillar and they work fine. My problem is now with the key fob, it doesn’t work when the lights are on. I can unlock the driver door fine, but that turns them on and the fob is locked persay. If I unplug the lights, the fobs work perfectly. I called the company that sold them and they are confused as well. Need some advice, please.

What does the power wire you pulled power from in the A-pill run? If the circuit is power or resistance sensitive it could cause problems. If it thinks the circuit is open or shorted from an excessive current draw or less resistance, t may cut/reduce power. A lot of security circuits work like this. Might need to find a different power source.

Derf00,
the plug in the A-pillar goes up to the dome lights. That’s what the instructions say to tap into, but it’s causing the remote not to work. Someone else posted the same issue back in 2013 but never posted any solutions.
