I want to share my experience with CJ Pony Parts so other buyers make an informed decision.
After placing an order, my payment was voided, and I was instructed to resend payment via PayPal. I did exactly that, paying the full amount shown at checkout, which also matched the order confirmation email they sent me.
Less than one hour after sending payment, I emailed them clearly requesting to cancel a specific item from the order (not the entire order). Despite this, they:
Continued sending emails as if nothing was requested
Claimed later that they had “no record” of my cancellation request
Then said the order was already processed and could not be changed
This makes no sense given the extremely short timeframe between payment and my cancellation request, and the fact that they were still actively emailing me during that same period.
To make matters worse, after all this, they suddenly claimed there was an additional balance due, even though:
The cart total at checkout
The order confirmation email
And the amount I PayPaled
all matched exactly.
When I questioned the discrepancy, I received generic responses, policy copy-pastes, and deflection instead of a clear explanation. I was effectively forced into a situation where:
My cancellation requests were ignored
The order was pushed through anyway
I was asked to pay more money after the fact
Overall, this was a frustrating, exhausting, and poorly handled experience. The lack of accountability, contradictory responses, and sudden extra charges make it very hard to trust this company. I strongly advise thinking twice before ordering
