It could be all kinds of stuff dude. If your coolant light is on, it might just be air in the system or a leak or something. I dunno. Could be your starter as well like c/note said. Whewre does the noise seem to be coming from?

i started my car for the first time in a couple weeks a couple days ago after it had been in our garage in near freezing temps..
it had a funny sound as well, but i noticed it more when i revved a bit and it declined
i have it on my video of the car revving, i'll listen to it tomorrow and let you know what i think it sounds like,and we'll compare
(and i laughed at the thought of a midget sitting in the back seat with a tape measure)
