Default 1995 mustang brakes question

I have a 1995 mustang convertible and just recently since it has started to snow when your driving and it hits a spot where it cant really get traction and you hit the brakes the brake pedal will go all the way to the floor without and pressure and it feels like its pumping. I assume this is supposed to happen?? Just wondering if this is normal and if so what kind of brake sytem that is called. thanks

all the way to the floor means your brake master cylinder is going bad.

Im thinking what derf is thinking. You probably need m/c piston seals.

The pumping might just be your ABS
