Default TFI

I was just wondering if you guys know if i have power and the coil with the key on and when i spin the engine over, will the power flicker my testlight???

A guy told me it will be lit up then when you crank it it should flicker from the signal from the TFI.

Im thinking my TFI went **** up. Its my 91 i used to own and i just bought it back from selling it 3 yrs ago. The owner kinda let it sit for 2 yrs of the 3 he had it. It was running awsome then bamb!!! No start. I was thinking coil at first ,cause of the power to the coil, but this guy told me it dont have a pulse at the connector. I have no spark out of the coil

Any ideas??? Thanks guys.

if you have no spark out of the coil....it's not the tfi mod.

but you kinda explained like you did have power out of the coil...then didn't so i'm a little confused.

but my first guess would be the module. thats pretty typical.

its either your TFI or the stator most likely unless your cap/rotor isnt making connections
