Winter Projects
Thought it would be nice to see what Winter Projects everyone were doing? I have been doing a list of things each Winter on mine, and this Winter is no different .
1. Replace front control arms, ball joints, and strut rod bushings.
2. Remove transmission and send converter in to get the stall speed raised about 800 more rpms.
3. replace the drive shaft with an aluminum one to cut weight and get rid of vibration at high speed with the 4.30 gears.
4. replace side gears in the Detroit locker with ones made for circlips. (Tbird and Cobras need these with IRS.)
5. Install full lenght sub frame connectors and roll bar. (told to not return to strip with out a roll bar in the Spring)
6. Get new wheels and 275/50/15 MT Drag Radials for the rear.
Fiill for bankruptcy when I go broke by Spring.
