drivers window help
my drivers window rocks back and forth. there is the main vertical bar that the window slides up and down on. how do i remove this bar? the plastic guides that hold the window from rocking are broken and need replacing. the only way i can see to do this is to remove the whole window and the main bar. HELP!!!!

RE: drivers window help
That bar is part of the regulator assembly I believe, it's been a while since I tore a mustang door apart. It is most likely riveted onto the door. Pull the panel and take a look. Are you sure thats the part thats broken?

I *think* the glass is riveted to either a channel or piece of flat stock on the regulator. You will see it when you pull the panel.
Knock the center pin out of the rivets then drill the head off. There may be one or two 10 or 11mm bolts that hold the side "glass runs" to the door, remove them so you can get the glass in and out easier.
