Default Automatic Tran. driving style

Hello folks. Just bought an '06 GT automatic transmission and am wondering if it's a good or bad idea to mess around with the Steptronic. I don't drive the car particularly hard and am hoping to make it last at least as long as the loan so I suppose my question is what's the best driving style to maximize transmission life?

Get an upgraded tranny cooler and a tuner that will increase the hydrolic pressure (Think SCT2 does it). Dont stay on it for long periods of time, heat is your big enemy so as long as you dont keep it heat cycling for long times it should be OK.
