I reset the mpg while driving at 50mph already, and noticed my gauge saying 26 mpg... I was like creaming my pants... Though of course now with driving it to work and back, and stop and go traffic... It's at about 20.9. So sad.

I also cleared the tune and reprogrammed it this morning, but haven't gotten on it yet to see if I notice a difference. Just by chance.... is anyone's pedal a little touchy in 3rd, 4th, or 5th? Meaning... If you're going 45mph in 5th gear, and you accelerate to 55mph, without down shifting... Will it still see power? I imagine you would have to downshift anyway, but I'm just curious of the 'throttle response' improvements are in all gears, or just 1st, 2nd, possibly 3rd.

Brent and I are running through the scenarios to find out if I just happened to get a bad tuner, or bad 87 tune, or whatever the case. Nevertheless great service you'd expect. The good thing is that Brent didn't even know I was having problems because I never called him, but he found out from here. Which just shows how dedicated they are to servicing their customers and making sure they get what they paid for... Which is great quality. -- Which is why we all love Brenspeed. [sm=gears.gif]

Thats cool he found out through here! Impressive.

I had an Issue when I got mine from Brenspeed, but in the end was'nt and issue at all really. I had recieved my JLTII CAI kit a day earlier than expected, opened it up to find that something wasnt right. So I called Brent. After telling him the contents was missing some stuff he knew something wasnt right. Hr called Jay at JLT with me on the other line, not on hold so I could hear his conversation. In the end, somehow 2 kits were sent to me, the one that got there early was some sort of prototype for the V6 from JLT to for Brent to test. My correct one was still on its way and due in the next day. Which it did. And UPS picked up the prototype kit to send back. Every call was answered, and return calls were prompt. Couldnt get any better service if I tried.

I'm getting a steady 20 around town with plenty of 0-60's in as fast as I can get there. I have gotten 22's with lightening up on the throttle. I verified these numbers with my pump receipts.

I still have to run down my 87 octane in the tank, so I can fill it up with 93 Octane and then use the 93 Octane tune to see if that makes any difference. I'm getting the throttle response, and gas mileage, but as far as the 20-30RWHP... I'm not feeling it. Feels the same as it was without the tune/CAI. -- So we'll see how things go with the 93 tune. Right now I put in the 91 Octane tune to see if there was any differnece in that then with the 87. Brent said it was ok to do, and a bunch of you guys out there are running 91 Octane with the 93 Octane tune. He thinks it's either my tuner, or running ****ty gas, but I hear no pinging. So we'll see.

Disconnect the battery with the headlights on? That's... strange. I did try the disconnect battery for a half an hour thing, but nothing.
