RE: electric water pump
I too had written off the electric water pump. But after hearing Hwg and Chevy, im changing my mind. My limited track experience shows a HUGE difference between a cold engine (Cool) and a hot one. Guess It goes back on the list. Still, after headers and gears, which go in tomorrow. Thanks guys.

I hear you on that, but as a daily driver it would seem the water pump is not the most efficient mod to do performance-wise.....or am I missing something?

RE: electric water pump
I have the Meziere water pump. I haven't installed it yet. I read somewhere that it produces 11HP at the wheels. But, like anything else, it depends on the setup you already have.
But a thought just occured to me. How does it know when to turn on? Is it always on? That would be a bad thing as far as battery life when you're parked listening to the radio. I'd prefer to have it wired so it only comes on when the engine is running.
